Ireland Workplace Reps & Branch Officer Elections 2025 – 2028

Dear Representatives/Branch Secretary,

It is time to set in motion the arrangements for the elections of our workplace reps/shop stewards and Branch Officer positions for the next triennial period 2025 – 2028 as the current electoral period expires on the 31^st March 2025.

Please therefore find on this page the necessary paperwork for you to use during these elections.

The elections outlined below are required to take place between 1^st January and 31^st March 2025 and those elected will hold office for three years from 1^st April 2025.

Update: February 2025

To allow our administrative staff to update our membership system with the details of the newly elected positions, we would ask that you hold your elections as soon as practicable in advance of the 31st March 2025. Ideally, the relevant forms would be returned before Wednesday, 19th March 2025. This will ensure that all our representatives are invited to our industrial sector and equality conferences, the invitations for which will be circulated the first week of April 2025.

Please note that in accordance with Rule/EC Guidance 6.3.1.1 For the election of workplace representatives, the workplace must contain a minimum of five members.
