Equalities

Unite is firmly committed to equality for all, in the workplace, in the union and within our wider communities. Click here for further information.

Our priorities for equality are led and informed by our members.  If you would like to be part of our fight against discrimination and inequality, join one of our dedicated equality committees.  Members on these committees not only form and champion our equality campaigns but also build strong networks within the trade union movement and develop skills, experience and confidence.

Hear below from some of the members of the Regional Women’s Committee on why you should consider joining one of Ireland’s equalities committees.

Our committees cover the island of Ireland and are open to members who identify themselves as part of each community.  Each meet quarterly either in person, online or both.  Further information on seats available on each committee can be found below.  If you are interested in joining, please contact our Regional Women’s and Equalities Officer  Collette O’Hagan at equalities.ireland@unitetheunion.org
