March 4th: The Workplace Relations Commission has put forward proposals which achieve cost savings but without outsourcing.

On the basis that outsourcing is now off the table and the stores operation will remain “in-house”, we will be suspending the strike action and lifting the pickets.

Both Unite and SIPTU will convene a joint shop stewards committee meeting as soon as possible and then proceed to ballot our members on the WRC proposals.
