Fully-booked all-day conference to be held at La Mon Hotel & Country Club
160 representatives of the business world will join with Unite shop stewards for a conference at the La Mon Hotel on the Equality Commission of Northern Ireland’s Mental Health Charter. The event is being co-hosted by the Equality Commission and Unite as a launch for their drive to encourage employers to sign up to the voluntary Charter guaranteeing a partnership-based approach to mental health in the workplace.
Conference will commence at 9.30 Monday December 3rd at the La Mon Hotel & Country Club, Castlereagh.
Catherine Casserley BL, Cloisters Chambers, will speak on Reasonable Adjustments in the workplace; other speakers include Lynn Carson, Chair, CIPD Northern Ireland Branch; Jacqui Metcalfe, HR Business Partner at Hyster Yale; Ann Stewart, Occupational Health Advisor; Yvette Shapiro, BBC, The View.
The event will be opened by Jackie Pollock, Unite Regional Secretary and William Gamble, Commissioner, Equality Commission NI.
