Time4Equality is a broad campaign being supported by a range of groups including Unite, USI, Rosa and TransPride Dublin, as well as individuals such as rape justice activist Leona O’Callaghan. In the run-up to International Women’s Day on March 8th 2019, the campaign will be highlighting not only gender issues, but issues surrounding all the ‘protected characteristics’ enshrined in equality legislation throughout Britain and Ireland. Although the initiative will culminate in a series of actions on International Women’s Day, that will not be an end of it: it’s always #Time4Equality.
